Honestly, I know everything I know about the new and improved campus theatre from the bathroom. They had a great poster in there that outlined the restoration work they did there this summer and how a group of individual movie fans brought the theatre totally back to life.
The movie I saw there was Breakfast at Tiffany’s which was a great blast from the past. The movie, for those who haven’t seen it, features Audrey Hepburn as a New York City socialite who goes on various exploits. The movie is really just beautiful to watch especially for someone who really, reallllllllly likes shopping. The clothes and jewelry are exquisite and it is really interesting to see New York filmed in this period of history.
It also actually had a decent plot. I hadn’t seen the movie in its entirety but it had a good storyline about Holly Golightly (Audrey Hepburn) who meets various men and is on the hunt for a well off husband. On the way she meets a writer who falls in love with her. The plot kept me engaged for the whole film and I would encourage anyone to watch it.
