Week 10 Questions


1. Which of the CGAP Principles of Microfinance does Kiva abide by, which do they not? Explain. Is it ok for them to not abide by all of them?

2. In “How to Change the World”  Bornstein talks about the importance of a champion in social movements, a social entrepreneur. Why are they important? Are the undeniably necessary?

3. Rorty states that “A movement can only be killed off by another movement of the same kind.” What is an example of a real world movement that was killed off by another?
